The second spot secured by Carl Edwards with 3182 points and 327 points behind Keselowski. In the aftermath of Ambrose’s third consecutive Nationwide series win at the Glenn, there have been some subtle changes to the standings. Michael McDowell cracked into the top 20 moving up two spots to nineteenth and Ricky Stenhouse, Jr dropped out of that list moving to twenty first overall.
It will also be aired on radio by MRN beginning at 1:30 EST. Odds have yet to be set at any of the major books, but check back in the next few days for complete analysis. This track was built in 1968 and is a 2 mile D-shaped oval with 18 degree turns, 12 degree front stretch, 5 degree backstretch, and seats an exact 137, 243 race fans. This week’s race will be the Carfax 250 at the Michigan International Speedway starting at 1 EST and will be televised by ESPN.
This is the single largest event in attendance in the state of Michigan and made even more special by being the place where the automobile was created and developed.
Nationwide Series leader Keselowski won here in 2009 and he certainly has to be the odds on favorite for this race. It is Noteworthy that Charles Moneypenny designed this track and the Daytona International Speedway.
