Who knew that Formula One has been a springboard for NASCAR Truck Series?
Series takes another former F1 star driving this week, when the world champion Kimi Raikkonen makes his 2007 debut on Friday night in NC Education Lottery 200 at Charlotte Motor Speedway (wind speed).
Raikkonen, 31, Finnish, No 15 to drive a Toyota Motorsports Kyle Busch what it is - at least for now - a matter of race.
Former F1 driver Nelson Piquet Jr. to drive cars all the time in this season, Kevin Harvick Inc., is the runner-up finish at Nashville.

Raikkonen left Formula One and the Ferrari factory team after the 2009 season, and was the competition in the World Rally Championship.
"I am very happy to make my first NASCAR race, it will be fun to compete with other drivers on the track again," said Raikkonen, referring to the race in rally against the clock. "This is a new experience for me - let's see what happens."
The transition to NASCAR by Raikkonen, who has booked a pilot never been a fan of manipulating the media, took many know him with his pants down.
"If Kimi does not know anything about NASCAR, NASCAR drivers he knows are almost forced to be sociable, a fan of the environment, working with the press and so on," said Bob Varsha, a TV broadcast speed of the F1 races.
"Kimi is quite different from those of us who have participated in his F1 career to know."
The last former F1 driver to move to the NASCAR Sprint Cup driver Juan Pablo Montoya believes Raikkonen will be a success.
"It 's a cool guy and I think it fits right in. It's going to be a difficult transition, but if you sanctify his time these cars, it should be," said Montoya.
Asked what advice he would give Finn, Montoya said: "Keep it up and listen to the advice of people you ask questions and give spend as much time behind the steering wheel, seat time as you can .."
