If the season has gone well, I'd probably spend a little about how it's hard to believe that everything was fast, the sad thing is that we've reached the end, how much I miss the Aston Villa weekend. But none of these things are true, at least at this point, I'm sure in a few weeks all will miss games, but for now just be a relief for her to be more. This season has been a lot of things and not many of them were very nice. However, it would be nice to go out on a good note, right?

Robert talked a bit about 'what you want to win this game yesterday, and it was pretty much there, does not necessarily mean much of anything any real sense (for us anyway), but the top-half finish is possible with three points and that felt pretty great after all is said and done. Of course, safety is paramount and Aston Villa have already been achieved, but you always want your team to do well as it can and it is certainly nice to finish the season on a positive note. And if Villa can take up to six or four points from their last two games against Arsenal and Liverpool, I would say that would be eligible.

That's another thing to actually do it themselves, and Liverpool has clearly a number of problems difficult game. If Darren Bent has been the best buy in the January transfer window (and it seems reasonable to say that he was certainly in the form of strikers) and Luis Suarez will be in second place. Suarez is not the number of goals scored Bent flashy, but it is much more comprehensive one before and to be honest, a bit tricky bastard. If there is one type of player who always gave Villa problems so far this season, their black sage. Suarez has generally been associated with Andy Carroll Dirk Kuyt made a casual start, but with hopes of European football for Liverpool on the line Kuyt will probably get the nod. Kuyt and Suarez have formed a great partnership, everyone plays for the forces of the other and sometimes maligned Dutch international is having a renaissance at age 30

Kuyt has also spent considerable time in place a little more comfortable on the wing since the arrival of Smith and Carroll, and because the Reds want to come to Villa with intent to attack a little more, would not be surprising to see him there.

Liverpool is still a dangerous offensive team, even in the absence of Steven Gerrard, lost in March to the end of the season groin surgery. Maxi Rodriguez is as dangerous as ever to the left and must get the green light Kuyt there, we'll probably see Raul Meireles at right. It is a powerful attack, no matter how you look, and because Liverpool do not always have something to play (and the need to win to get there), it is reasonable to expect that they come to town with two firearms. It is something of a scary thought given the propensity for leaks Villa goals, but it is interesting to note that the defensive line seemed much, much better in recent weeks and not more than two goals Villa since its 3-2 loss against Bolton Wanderers at the Reebok rather strange on 5 March. This is not exactly high praise, but the truth is I was a bit since we saw a really chaotic performance of the defense.

There's also the fact that Aston Villa is still a very dangerous team on the break. Liverpool have a good defensive club, but I'm far from elite, and showed a tendency to let themselves be burned to run a bit 'too much enthusiasm. If there is a plan for success in this game, probably based on victories against Manchester City and Arsenal, swinging quickly resolve the choice of their points and defend like crazy. Wool is a difficult final against a deep back line and the speed of Bent, young people and (possibly) Agbonlahor can change things very quickly. It is not very good for the heart, but has proven to be effective. Quick strikes, expanses of quality management and solid defense. It is so hard is that?

Oddly enough, I'm probably looking more forward to this game than any of the season at West Ham to open the year. There is nothing to lose and little to gain, but Liverpool is a big name to defeat and promises to be a fun, at least for a few minutes. I am resigned to not seeing more than one or two young in the XI, but I doubt Gary McAllister will make those decisions next season and would not learn all that much of a game in every case, so I can not be ass much attention. I'm looking forward to getting up early, make breakfast, make a whole pot of coffee and watching my football club. Every time I complained about this season, is still just a game and is supposed to be fun. Whatever happens, enjoy it. Do not miss fast enough.

Richard Dunne and James Collins is not the combination that I hope to see come back next year, are both the quality of their players, but are not particularly good style of play favors Gerard Houllier, and have many of the same weaknesses. That said, there have been a disaster for some time (and at least part of pistoon drop Luke Young and left behind, and Kyle Walker shows a considerable improvement on the defensive side of the corner of the back) and while some concern is the reasonable expectations an absolute massacre, probably unfounded.
